Insurance

InsuranceIn spite of our best efforts, there are times when some insurance companies refuse to pay, for any number of reasons. Please understand that you will be responsible for any amount that your insurance company doesn’t pay.

Can You File My Insurance For Me?
We at Cutbirth and Sanderson are happy to deal with your insurance company on your behalf, because that is what we do every day, and after twenty years of practice, we do it very well.

Do You Take My PPO Insurance Plan?
Yes! We take all PPO plans. PPO plans have a list of “preferred providers” that we may or may not be on depending on the plan. You may still come to our office if we are not on your PPO list, and many times your out-of-pocket costs will be the same. The important thing to know is that we’ll give you an estimate of any additional costs you may have concerning your particular insurance plan.

Do You Take My HMO/DHMO Insurance Plan?
Sorry, but we don’t take any DMO or HDMO insurance plans. The reason is simple. In our opinion, some insurance plans pay at such a low rate, we would be forced to cut corners to make a profit. This is ultimately bad for the patient, so to maintain our standard of care, we elect not to take these plans.

What Insurance Plans Do You Recommend?
We recommend one that lets you go to any dentist of your choice. The offices that treat you the best are the ones that know you can go anywhere you want if they don’t make you happy.

Also remember that if you’re not part of a large group of employees (several hundred or more), then dental insurance is much more expensive therefore it may be more beneficial for you and your family to pay cash and gain a cash discount.

Payments

Payment is due upon completion of treatment.
We do file insurance.

Policy

To provide our patients with the highest quality of care, it is necessary to
have an office policy.
